Bluestone is an Ann Arbor, Michigan business consulting and coaching firm that specializes in proven management systems designed for the smaller organization. Bluestone works with owners and independent business professionals in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.
Chuck Jeffery’s hands-on experience includes nation-wide service management as well as four years as a manufacturing plant manager. His marketing and service adventures include numerous projects in Canada and Mexico and several projects in the UK, Brazil and Trinidad.
He has coached high performance teams in product development, marketing, operations and manufacturing. He also has broad experience coaching management systems implementation that improve bottom line results. Chuck knows what works (in many cases) and is devoted to helping you avoid the pitfalls of the quick fix, “silver bullet” fads that cannot deliver.
Specialized training with Tennessee Associates Inc. (TAI), the TQM consulting firm know for their work with Harley-Davidson, had a long-term impact on Chuck’s approach to performance coaching. His background also extends to the International Standards (ISO) as management representative for quality. During 2007, he served as an examiner with the Michigan Quality Council to assist Michigan organizations with their application of the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence.
Coach specific training includes the TAI Management System Facilitator Program mentioned above, plus coaching coursework with the Coach Training Alliance, and with Coachville. Similarly, he received business coach training during 2005-2006 with the Professional Business Coaches Alliance.
Chuck has a BSBA in Organizational Management and an MBA in Systems Management. He believes, however, that his highest qualification comes from years of learning and applying best management practices.
